Mother Kali

Kali, Thou, Supreme being unsurpassed
Guardian of my Heart, take this child
upon thy lap, to suckle at thy breast,
Feeding truth, a never ending flow,
Dividing darkness from the light,
cleaving into two the world arising,
teacher of birth and death,
and the lie every dreamer dreamt,
Let the beauty grow, as each winter
turns to spring, and the darkness be
silent solitude, that fertile land
of 'always being' Mother Kali
sweet! how sweet and dark,
raw! and gentle power
Redeemer of the lost,
Destroyer of the found
Kali formless
silent whisper
'dead thou art alive'

Kali

Kali devourer, eater of souls,
come thy sword and shred the flesh,
from the bones of those,
the pretenders to the crown,
Standing upon the wastelands
of desolation, destroyer,
destructions champion hand,
Dark mother herald of prebirth,
taker of saintly heads,
sing your song of woes and joy,
uprising triumphant in a souls demise,
graced now in holy splendour,
feet astride the body slain.
Dancer now of Shiva's fate,
Shakti rising and sword ablaze,
trace the creation,
in one jet black sky,
Blood red truth new born, out of loves
mouth spews...
and the earth is ever thy jewel.

Kali-Mahavidya

Kali
no time
in an instant, devoured
Devourer of souls
eating up
cleansing as a fire
no thought, no mind
gone
taken in an instant
the all ever instant
domain of Kali

The One death,
The One Devourer
Taker of all I thought
One that
returning Now
an instant of this
an instant of that
Nothing
and Light
pulsing
devoured/reborn..
an instant is
Kali
